Here's how to upload images to Picasa from your Kodak V705:
With the camera turned OFF, hook up the cable.
Turn on the camera.
Windows will recognize that a new device is plugged in. A dialogue box will open and ask you to Select the program to launch. Choose Picasa, click OK. If the dialogue box is not visible, you can "bring it to the top" by clicking the V705 icon in the Taskbar.
Picasa will open and begin reading the image files.
To transfer all of the images to your computer, click Import All. Or select individual images and click Import selected.
Picasa will place the images in a new folder. Enter an easy-to-recognize name for the folder. Click finish.
Picasa will import the images, and switch to the Library view.
Be sure to turn the camera OFF before disconnecting the cable.
